AAA Gun & Pawn: from old storefront to new
Every shop has two storefronts now, the physical one and the website, and a DeLand pawn and gun shop is no different.
This page walks from the archived AAA Gun & Pawn storefront to the new one, which offers an online storefront for firearms, ammunition and optics, tied to a custom counter point-of-sale system that syncs with the site.
The old AAA Gun & Pawn window display
Walking past the aaagunandpawn.com storefront on July 26, 2013, as archived by the Wayback Machine, you would have seen this.
The window under the sign “Home - AAA Gun and Pawn Inc ” featured a text-heavy page with a dark banner logo, a row of small text links and plain price and category lists.
The AAA Gun & Pawn storefront today
Step inside the new site and you find an online storefront for firearms, ammunition and optics, tied to a custom counter point-of-sale system that syncs with the site.
The sign over the door now says “Two floors · A changing selection · One DeLand destination”.
The aisles are labeled Shop, Brands, New Arrivals, Pawn / Sell / Trade, About.
What a computer store learns from AAA Gun & Pawn
Customers judge a shop by its window, and online that window is the homepage of AAA Gun & Pawn.
